How the online Interior Design service works
The online Interior Design service is carried out in several consecutive phases of work that start with a general definition of the project and get, step by step, to the choice of individual elements that will define it.
It all starts with a video call appointment, an initial meeting to get to know each other and gather desires, goals and objectives of the project to be realized.
This first meeting is generally free of charge, since it is from the outcome of the first acquaintance that the Interior Designer gathers the information necessary to understand whether the client's idea is feasible, and the client can feel affinity and complicity with the Interior Designer, essential ingredients to be able to say that the client has found the right professional to whom he/she can entrust the job.
Within the next 48h, the client confirms the successful completion of the meeting and requests an estimate from the Interior Designer for carrying out the work. The estimate is sent within a week of the request and contains details of the work steps required to carry out the requested assignment, indications of the timeline for deliveries, and the respective estimated down payments up to the balance upon completion of the work.
With the payment of the first down payment upon acceptance of the estimate, the design work is initiated.
Based on the timeline already indicated in the estimate, a second appointment is scheduled by video call to be made from the location that is the subject of the work to be done. In this meeting, the Interior Designer guides the client in taking the necessary measurements, taking general or detail photos and choosing the basic documentation needed to be able to begin to define the project with dimensioned drawings.
In the next phase, the duration of which is proportional to the complexity of the work to be done in terms of the number of rooms to be designed, a moodboard is drawn up with initial design proposals and initial color and material specifications.
The subject of the subsequent video calls is then the presentation of the idea through the moodboard, with all its elements. This crucial meeting ends with the definition of the main elements of the project, to be detailed in the next phase.
In case the client's wish was not centered with the first moodboard, a new close appointment is scheduled, time to work out a second solution based on the considerations derived from the analysis of the first solution.
Having defined the “beating heart” of the project, the work proceeds with the necessary insights, defined together with the client, to the detailed elaboration of the guidelines for its implementation.
At the last remote meeting, the project is explained in detail, and the final documentation processed as per the initial agreements (drawings, photo-insertions, renderings, estimates...) is shown. Upon receipt of the balance transfer, the package of everything processed and viewed during the last meeting is sent in non-editable pdf format and signed Let's do you.
If requested by the client, it is also possible to remotely follow up on the implementation of the project. Two inspections at the beginning and end of the work are advisable, though not mandatory.
Art direction or construction management can be requested at any time during the design phase or after the project is completed and delivered.
